The Leadership Labs offers "LAB SERIES" short courses and interactive workshops designed to equip students and young professionals, particularly those from underserved communities, with technical and analytical skills essential for success in STEM fields.
Through our LAB SERIES, we provide hands-on, practical learning experiences in five core STEM areas: Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Geosciences. Each course is structured to enhance critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and applied technical expertise, while also fostering the confidence and professional skills needed for academic and career advancement.

“Today’s training significantly improved my understanding of watershed delineation, hydrological processes, and the practical application of QSWAT+ for watershed modeling. I learned how to delineate watersheds and sub-basins using spatial and DEM-based data and understood the key steps involved in setting up a hydrological model. The hands-on exercises helped me better understand how land use, soil, slope, and climate data influence hydrological simulations. Overall, the training strengthened my practical skills and confidence in using QSWAT+ for watershed and flood-related research.”
