Marketing Strategy, Creativity, and Purpose-Driven Innovation
Participating in the International Women’s Day (IWD) 2025: Enriching Women’s Path program was a transformative experience that challenged me to fully embrace my creativity, leadership, and vision for innovation.
As part of the team that won first place during the innovation challenge, we developed Murà, an AI-powered personal styling assistant inspired by the Yoruba word meaning “dress up.” Murà was designed to help women make confident fashion choices through personalized recommendations tailored to body type, lifestyle, and cultural identity. As the team’s Marketing Specialist and co-Innovation Strategist, I helped shape our brand identity, audience engagement strategy, and overall innovation framework that made the concept stand out.
More than a competition project, Murà represented a meaningful attempt to solve everyday challenges women face through innovation, accessibility, and self-expression. Beyond the competition, the experience reinforced the power of collaboration and purpose-driven innovation. It strengthened my confidence in leadership, strategic thinking, and technology-driven problem-solving, while further motivating me to continue building impactful solutions through my tech startup, Eltechra. Most importantly, the program reminded me that meaningful innovation happens when diverse minds come together to solve real challenges.
