Innovation Strategy, Accessibility, and Technology-Driven Impact
I’m especially grateful to The Leadership Labs for creating an environment that encouraged innovation, collaboration, and growth throughout the International Women’s Day 2025: Enriching Women’s Path program. Participating in the experience was both inspiring and transformative, showing me the power of purpose-driven problem solving and what is possible when passionate women come together to address real societal challenges.
As part of Team ComfortCheck, we developed a concept for an AI-powered portable breast health monitoring device designed to make early detection more accessible, affordable, and practical for women, especially in underserved and off-grid communities. Serving as the team’s Innovation Strategist, I focused on exploring how artificial intelligence could support real-time analysis and improve accessibility to healthcare technologies. The experience challenged me to think critically about how innovation can bridge gaps in healthcare systems while remaining practical and community-centered.
This experience became a turning point for me. Even though we did not build the device, presenting the concept showed me how powerful ideas can be when they are rooted in empathy and accessibility. It motivated me to begin exploring technology more deeply, particularly data engineering, with the confidence that I can contribute to projects that create meaningful impact within communities. Most importantly, the experience reinforced my commitment to promoting sustainable and accessible technology solutions that leave no woman behind.
